15, RUE DU PRE AUX CLERCS
7th arrondissement

This apartment is located at 15, rue du Pré des Clercs, a small street, just east of rue des Saint-Pères, that runs between rue de l'Université and boulevard Saint-Germain in the 7th arrondissement. The Seine River, the 11th-century Eglise Saint-Germain, and the Saint-Germain-des-Prés Métro stop are all less than four minutes away by foot.

The apartment is on the first French floor of the building, which can be reached by stairs or elevator.

The 175 m2 (1,880 sq. ft.) of living space is comprised of a large double living-dining room with two white sofas, a modern and well-equipped kitchen with four-burner stove, dishwasher and microwave and conventional ovens, and three bedrooms, each with two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Another room, which opens off the living room, has two twin daybeds. This room can be used as a sitting room or as an additional bedroom, bringing maximum occupancy to eight overnight guests.

There are two bathrooms, one at each end of the L-shaped space. One bathroom has a tub with overhead shower and WC, and the other a stall shower and a separate WC.

Decorative features include parquet de Versailles floors, high molded ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows framed by silk draperies. The decor is a blend of antiques and contemporary pieces.

Among the many amenities in this apartment are a washing machine and dryer, television with cable reception (including CNN and BBC), and a DVD player.

This spacious apartment is ideally situated for visitors who enjoy the stylish yet relaxed ambiance of Left Bank Paris. Three of Paris' famed literary cafes - Deux Magots, Flore and Brasserie Lipp - are a stone's throw away. Restaurants in all price ranges abound in the area, as do specialty food stores, art galleries and boutiques offering rare books, fine antiques and antique jewelry. Just across the Seine via Pont Royal or Pont du Carrousel are the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre.
